Wall, desk and rack-mounting options give users ultimate flexibility in selecting the model that meets their specific physical deployment requirements.Fanless for silent operation The FS710 Series are fanless and run silently, making them ideal for the desktop or workspace. Deploy in dusty industrial environments without affecting the expected lifetime.Simplified installation Auto-configuration of the FS710 Series minimizes user set-up. Auto-sensing ports enable seamless and simple connectivity between existing 10Mbps Ethernet and 100Mbps Fast Ethernet UTP devices, so installation takes just minutes. All ports support MDI/MDI-X simple connection to other hubs and switches. Environmentally friendly FS710 Series eco-friendly switches conform to the Allied Telesis commitment to environmentallyfriendly processes and products. They are designed to minimize power consumption through the use of a high-efficiency power supply and a low-power chipset. With low power consumption and a reduction in power outside regular work hours, as well as other powersaving features included as standard, the Allied Telesis FS710 Series truly lives up to its eco-friendly reputation. Not only does this help the planet by reducing the carbon footprint of each switch, it also lowers the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for the user. The device costs less to run, and features improved reliability
Powering remote devicesAllied Telesis IMC200/2000 Series Industrial Media Converters (IMCs) are ideal for powering remote devices, such as IP phones, video cameras and wireless Access Points (APs), which are more than 100m from a Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch. Each IMC can provide up to 70W of PoE.The 2000T/SP and the 2000TP/SP each feature a 10/100/1000T twisted-pair port, and an SFP port which supports and auto detects 100X and 1000X optics. No switch configuration is needed. Allied Telesis offers a wide variety of SFPs featuring multimode, single mode and BiDi optics.Models with a fixed fiber-optic port are available with SC or LC connectors. With these, you can achieve distances up to 2 km (100Mps) or 550 m (1000Mps). With the SFP model, you can achieve greater distances using a long-range SFP.In addition to transmitting data, the twisted-pair port also injects power down the cable, allowing a remote PoE powered device to operate without any additional power source. All PoE+ devices (IEEE802.3at compliant) are supported. All PoE+ devices support 802.3at, PoE+, LTPoE++ and 4-pair. The PC200x PoE+ Series can deliver up to 70W of power to the remote device.Remote Power CycleThe IMC200/2000 Series supports the Remote Power Cycle feature. This allows a remote administrator to log in to the host switch device and disable the switch port to which the IMC is attached, causing the PoE+ device to lose power. This allows administrators to reset remote devices without physically going to the location.Jumbo frame supportMany backbone switch products support the industry-standard IEEE 802.1Q specification for Virtual LANs (VLANs) which sends extra-long data packets on the network. The IMC200/2000 Series are fully compatible with these long packets, enabling them to be used in modern networks.Smart MissingLink™ (SML)The SML feature monitors network connections and provides a notification when a link fails, allowing administrators to quickly identify the source and location of failed links, and thus minimize downtime.
The Allied Telesis CentreCOM® GS970M/18PS Layer 3 managed switch features sixteen 10/100/1000T Gigabit Ethernet ports and two 100/1000X SFP ports for secure connectivity at the network edge.
The Allied Telesis CentreCOM GS980M/52 managed switch features 48 x 10/100/1000T copper ports and 4 x 100/1000X SFP uplinks. A comprehensive feature-set, and built in security, make it ideal for high-density user and device connectivity at the network edge.OverviewAllied Telesis GS980M Series switches provide an excellent access solution for today’s networks, supporting Gigabit to the desktop for maximum performance. Deploying the GS980M as an AMF edge node when an AMF Master switch is available in the network, helps reduce network running costs by automating and simplifying many day-to-day administration tasks. 48 Gigabit ports and 4 SFP uplinks enable high-density and secure connectivity at the network edge, and the PoE+ model can supply up to 30 Watts to powered end-points.
Gigabit Ethernet to Fiber Mini Media and Rate ConverterThis standalone mini media and rate converter features 10/100/1000T to 1000SX conversion with a multi-mode SC fiber connector and supports from 220 m to 500 m. It is compatible with the MMCR18 rack-mount chassis.Copper to Fiber Mini Media and Rate ConvertersOverviewThe Allied Telesis MMC Series of mini media converters leverages its smaller size to not only help the environment with a small carbon footprint, but also to save space in its working environment. Despite its compact size, the MMC Series delivers all the power and functionality of standard size media converters.Extend NetworksThe MMC Series are available in 100Mbps or 1000Mbps models. Depending on the model chosen, the fiber-optic port has options for fixed SC, ST, LC or SFP connectors capable of multi-mode or single-mode fiber connectivity. The twisted-pair copper port has an RJ-45 connector supporting either 100Mbps or 1000Mbps, with a maximum operating distance of 100 meters (328 feet).VLAN SupportMany new backbone switch products now support the industry-standard IEEE 802.1Q specification for Virtual LANs (VLANs) that send extra-long data packets on the network. The MMC Series are fully compatible with these long packets, enabling them to be used in modern networks. Media converters not supporting this feature discard these extra long packets, making them unsuitable for modern networks.Small and FlexibleThe smaller size and external power supply of the MMC Series allows them to be used almost anywhere.Smart MissingLink (SML)The Smart MissingLink™ (SML) feature monitors network connections and provides notification when network segments fail, allowing network managers to quickly identify the source and location of failed segments and minimize downtime.Smart Link RestorationSmart Link restoration allows the devices, in cases of power failure, link loss or other interrupted service, to automatically restore the link without the need to restart/reset them.Power SavingThe MMC Series continues the Allied Telesis commitment to the environment with over 50% power savings. With just 1.7W of power usage, the MMC Series media converters are some of the most efficient in the market today.Link TestThe link test is a fast and easy way for you to test the connections between the media converter ports and the connected end nodes. If a network problem occurs, you can perform a link test to determine which port is experiencing a problem, and focus your troubleshooting efforts on the right cable or end node.
