Gigabit Small Form-Factor Pluggable ModulesThe Allied Telesis SP Series delivers flexible, full-duplex Ethernet connectivity. These hot-swappable fiber and copper interfaces simply plug into the SFP slot on all SFP-compatible devices. Configuration can be optimized to meet a wide variety of distance and service requirements.CompatibilityAllied Telesis SP Series Small Form-Factor Pluggables (SFPs) are supported on Allied Telesis devices with SFP uplink connections*.SP Series SFPs are Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA)-compliant, and fully adhere to industry standard networking regulations. This allows the SP Series to be used with other MSA-compliant platforms that support SFP uplink connections.OptionsSP Series SFPs offer short-haul,long-haul and Bi-Directional (BiDi) solutions. This flexibility allows network managers to easily extend network distance and bandwidth. Using an SFP BiDi transceiver can upgrade transmission capacity on a typical network—without installing new fibers—by utilizing a single fiber for both the send and receive signals.Multiple temperature rangesDifferent network environments call for a variety of temperature ranges. The SP Series is available in standard (0-70°C), industrial (-40 to 85°C), and extended (-40 to 105°C) temperature variants.
FS710 series- 802.1x auth with EAPOL passthrough When 802.1x authentication is executed, EAPOL packets is sent from supplicant. However if the switch does not support EAPOL passthrough, EAPOL and EAP packets is forwarded to Authenticator. As a result, authentication does not start.FS710 series supports EAPOL passthrough, so it is suitable as HUB when using 802.1x auth with EAP.
The Allied Telesis GS920/8 is an 8-port 10/100/1000T unmanaged DIP switch with internal PSU, offering secure, unmanaged Gigabit switching for the desktop and small networks.
Stackable Multi-Gigabit Layer 3 Dual PSU SwitchesPowerful Multi-Gigabit switches with high capacity and easy management, making them the ideal choice for demanding distribution and high-speed connectivity applications. Dual hot-swap PSU models maximize resiliency, while PoE models enable flexible endpoint support.
The AT-SPSX/SC and SPFX/SC are “first of their kind” optics, allowing the SFP to use an SC fiber connector. This unique feature allows many current networks that use SC fiber terminations, to connect to any device (for example, media converters, switches etc.) that have an available SFP port, without the need to change to LC connectors.
Powering remote devicesAllied Telesis IMC200/2000 Series Industrial Media Converters (IMCs) are ideal for powering remote devices, such as IP phones, video cameras and wireless Access Points (APs), which are more than 100m from a Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch. Each IMC can provide up to 70W of PoE.The 2000T/SP and the 2000TP/SP each feature a 10/100/1000T twisted-pair port, and an SFP port which supports and auto detects 100X and 1000X optics. No switch configuration is needed. Allied Telesis offers a wide variety of SFPs featuring multimode, single mode and BiDi optics.Models with a fixed fiber-optic port are available with SC or LC connectors. With these, you can achieve distances up to 2 km (100Mps) or 550 m (1000Mps). With the SFP model, you can achieve greater distances using a long-range SFP.In addition to transmitting data, the twisted-pair port also injects power down the cable, allowing a remote PoE powered device to operate without any additional power source. All PoE+ devices (IEEE802.3at compliant) are supported. All PoE+ devices support 802.3at, PoE+, LTPoE++ and 4-pair. The PC200x PoE+ Series can deliver up to 70W of power to the remote device.Remote Power CycleThe IMC200/2000 Series supports the Remote Power Cycle feature. This allows a remote administrator to log in to the host switch device and disable the switch port to which the IMC is attached, causing the PoE+ device to lose power. This allows administrators to reset remote devices without physically going to the location.Jumbo frame supportMany backbone switch products support the industry-standard IEEE 802.1Q specification for Virtual LANs (VLANs) which sends extra-long data packets on the network. The IMC200/2000 Series are fully compatible with these long packets, enabling them to be used in modern networks.Smart MissingLink™ (SML)The SML feature monitors network connections and provides a notification when a link fails, allowing administrators to quickly identify the source and location of failed links, and thus minimize downtime.
10/100/1000T to 100Mbps/1000Mbps SFP industrial temperature media converter. These converters feature Smart MissingLink™ (SML) and support up to 10K jumbo frames. The IMC2000T/SP-980 can be mounted on a DIN-rail or used as a desktop/standalone device and is fanless for silent operation.Powering remote devicesAllied Telesis IMC200/2000 Series Industrial Media Converters (IMCs) are ideal for powering remote devices, such as IP phones, video cameras and wireless Access Points (APs), which are more than 100m from a Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch.
